Clearly Besotted Challenge #9 - Entry 2

Hi everyone,

Another card for the Clearly Besotted Challenge! Did I mention how much I love butterflies?

Anyways, here's some more butterfly love for my next card.

Using the Elegant Butterflies set, I stamped the butterfly image using Versafine Oynx black onto the orange cardstock.  I loved how it turned out... just like a Monarch butterfly. I added some Ranger Diamond Stickles for some bling.  I really like how it turned out.

 Cheers and keep on crafting!

Clearly Besotted Challenge #9 - In Flight

Hi everyone,

It's me again popping by for another card challenge post.  I recently purchased and received my "Elegant Butteries" stamp set from Clearly Besotted.  I just love butterflies and when I saw this newly released set I knew I had to get my hands on it! When I got them I was blown away at the quality of the stamps.  The images that are produced are so solid and beautiful.  I'm a major fan now.  You've got me Clearly Besotted ;)

Anyways, I went to work with this stamp set and created a couple of cards.   This is the first of a series of cards I made while playing around with the set for Clearly Besotted's Challenge #9.

I had a lavender card base, and I decided to stick with purple hues.  I used my favorite colors - eggplant, lavender and grey to stamp the butterflies! I just loved how it turned out and I can't wait to give this to someone getting married.

Until next time!

Lawnscaping Challenge 77: BLING IT

Hi everyone,

Me again with another card post.  Today I am participating in the Lawnscaping Challenge: Bling it.  How can I resist not making a glittery bling bling card?!

http://networkedblogs.com/Lox16

Here's my card:

I used my favorite Lawn Fawn "Scripty Hello" to create a negative space on a piece of black card stock.  Next I used some American Craft glitter tape and adhered that to the white card base.  I just love how the glitter pops with the black.  Next I used my Lots of Dots stamp set to create the little circles.  I added some Doodlebug jewels to add some more bling.

In this entry, I'm also trying out a new system of displaying products I've used for my card.  Check out Clips-N-Cuts for more information on her InLinkz system as well as a giveaway.

Take care and keep on crafting,
Janet

CAS(E) this Sketch #66

Hi everyone,

I'm just stopping by with a card I created for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch #66.  I really loved the interesting sketch and decided to play along.

Here's the sketch

http://casethissketch.blogspot.com/2014/02/case-this-sketch-66.html

I just purchased some goodies from Simon Says Stamps and Papertrey Ink, so I thought I'd play around and create something new.  I used the line scribbles from PTI's Circle Scribbles set to make a background.  Then I die cut a butterfly in the center using Simon Say's Stamps Crissy Butterfly.  I just love the whole scribble look.  It's so much fun.

That's all for now.  Keep on crafting :)
